Programme Highlight:
The CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre at City University of Hong Kong was established in 2017 under a partnership with CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, aiming to promote low-carbon energy sources for the future.
The facility features five themed zones that cover climate change, renewable energy, natural gas, nuclear power, and future energy innovations. It offers interactive exhibits and multimedia displays, including a 3D immersive system that lets visitors explore a nuclear reactor virtually to provide an engaging and educational experience. Its mission is to raise awareness about the vital role of low-carbon energy in fighting climate change and to motivate the community to support a greener, more sustainable future for Hong Kong.
