Programme Highlights:
Kai Tak Sports Park is a fully
integrated sports, entertainment and leisure destination aiming at directly support
the Government to implement the sports development policy objectives such as
promoting sports for all, supporting elite sports, and promoting Hong Kong as a
strategic hub for major international sports events. The 28-hectare precinct
will be part of the redevelopment on the site of the former Hong Kong
International Airport. The park features a 50,000-seat Main Stadium with a retractable
roof, an Indoor Sports Centre with the flexibility to host community sports and
events of up to 10,000 seats, and a Public Sports Ground with a capacity of 5,000
seats. These venues will be complemented with extensive outdoor areas for
events and leisure together with retail and harbor front dining spaces.
This visit will show you the major
truss installation of Main Stadium and ETFE installation of ISC.

Registration Fee:
A HK$100 refundable deposit
will be collected from each successful registration but it will be returned
during the visit. For any absence of the visit, the HK$100 deposit will not be
returned but payable to HKIE-SSC account as handling charges.

confirmation email before 8 Sept. 2023. The number of participants is limited
to 30.
Remarks:
1. Applications will be
accepted on a first-come first-served basis and priority will ONLY be given to
HKIE members.
2. All participants shall
bring alone their own "Green Card" and safety shoes at the visit.
