Speakers
Mr. So Koon Leung - Retired Duty Services Manager, Trainer for the Hangzhou MTR Corporation
Limited (HZMTR) and Beijing MTR Corporation Limited (BJMTR), is the subject
expert on human factors which may have impacts on operations and incident
management review. He holds an undergraduate degree from the Beijing Jiaotong
University, a postgraduate degree in Management from the City University of
Hong Kong and a Master of Arts degree in Transport Policy and Planning from the
University of Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of
China Hong Kong Railway Institution.
Mr. So has an extensive 38 years of experience in the Operations of MTR.
He has only recently retired from the Corporation and has been extensively
involved in the investigation of incidents in determining the root causes as
well as identifying the necessary mitigation measures to prevent recurrence of
these undesirable events.

Highlights
The seminar will
provide an excellent opportunity for the participants to learn about some of
the key facts on incidents within the operating railway as well as what are the
lessons learnt from the incidents. This will provide key insights on how to
prevent the recurrence of these incidents and ultimately in providing a safer
environment for rail operations. The presentation will be conducted in
Cantonese.
