Program Highlight:

The FDC™ is one of the largest data center complexes in Hong Kong, with industry leading colocation, utility power and cooling capacity. It was launched in 2013 with data center tower one (FDC1) and launched in 2015 with data center tower two (FDC2), offering total of over 7,000 racks of server space.

FDC™ is designed with Tier IV infrastructure to meet the highest level of redundancy to have fault tolerance with no single point of failure and the ability to withstand critical incidents and natural disasters like earthquakes, fire or leaks. It is the first data center in Hong Kong with Tier IV design certified by Uptime Institute, and the first data center in the region to adopt a modular design that allows customized tier level in different ICT halls (hybrid tiering), giving customers to enjoy total flexibility in maintaining their infrastructure and resources to match different business needs.

It is also the first data center in the region that co-locates the ASE landing station and NTT Communications global network node to offer ultra-low latency solution. While remaining carrier-neutral to serve clients’ need for colocation service, FDC™ provides exceptional options in multi-faceted ultra-low latency solutions, from cross connection within the high density data centers, to IPLC throughout major markets in Asia and all the way to the US. FDC™ offers  a  more  sustainable  data  center  solution  that enables customers to maximize the utilization of IT equipment and  flexibility  for  future  expansion  to  reduce  TCO  in  the long  run.  Our  extreme  level rack  power  density  of  up  to 24kVA  per  rack  ensures  that  high  power  equipment  is housed in an optimal environment.

This visit will be included the overview of the FDC™ and the Tour of different datacenter facilities such as MMR, Power corridor, Cooling Corridor and Data Hall.

Please note CPD certificate will be available for registered applicants only and a HK$50 printing charge will be required to be collected upon distribution of certificate on the day after the seminar.
