Understanding the Test,
Erection & Safety Engineering Practice on
Lifting Appliance & Gear
Introduction
Safety engineering has been one of the most widely
discussed topics in Hong Kong not only in construction industry but also in
operations and maintenance of building and facility management field. In order
to promote safety and health information & knowledge sharing, enhance
safety and health education & training, improve safety and health in
engineering design practices and offer advisory services on safety and health
matters. A series of safety engineering workshop and courses are launched to
the HKIE members as well as other professional practitioners in the industry.
This course provides
basic requirements designed to give the candidate a thorough grounding of the
Law and standards relating to lifting equipment, understanding the statutory
requirements for the inspection, rejection and the reporting of lifting
equipment in service,conduct visual inspection of common use of lifting
appliance and gear in constructionindustry. Upon completion of the workshop,
learners shall be able to:
manage testing and examination of lifting appliance and gear, make
professional judgment on the safe or unsafe decision on testing items and to
identify viable solutions to problems, and
apply, evaluate and improve continuously their professional knowledge and
practical skills in the working environments.
課程重點介紹起重設備和裝置的測試和搭建的操作，使學員能夠了解起重工作的法規和標準，包括建築業起重設備的測試、報告、目視檢查和工程運作。
管理起重設備和裝備的檢測和檢查，對測試項目的安全或不安全決策進行專業判斷，並確定問題的可行解決方案；
應用、評估和持續改工程人員在工作環境中的專業知識和實踐技能。
